Laptop, Camcorder & Camera Lending
Laptops:
The Circulation Department has 10 laptops available for checkout and use inside the library. The checkout time is 4 hours with the option to renew 1 time for 4 additional hours. We ask that you read and sign the Laptop Checkout Agreement form which the Circulation Staff will provide. We will place the Laptop on your library account until you return it. Floppy drives are also available upon request and we ask to hold your Buzzcard while in your possession. Overdue fines for Laptops are $10 per hour.
Digital Camcorders & Cameras:
The Circulation Department has 24 Digital Camcorders available for a 1 week checkout period and 4 Digital Cameras available for a 3 day checkout period. We grant 1 renewal based on availability. We also have 1 Camcorder and 1 Camera available for 2 hour use for those who just need to take a few quick shots. We will ask that you read and sign an Equipment Loan Agreement form before we place the item on your library account. The Circulation Staff will show you how to use the equipment and verify that the camcorder or camera is in proper working condition and the accompanying case includes the necessary peripherals before you sign the agreement form. Overdue fines for Camcorders and Cameras are $5 per day. We also have 5 tripods available upon request. Digital Video tapes used in the Digital Camcorders are available for $5 each.
